Nail Polish Declutter Project: Post #1

It's been a long time since I last updated this blog, so I'm really excited to post something new today! I had been really indulging in a lot of my other hobbies over the past several months (gardening, and cooking/baking in particular) so I haven't been able to keep up with my nail art. Sadly, I also have not been doing my nails as much during this time since both gardening, and food preparation are very tough on manicures, and I find it way easier to leave my nails bare when doing these activities frequently.

Today's post has been prompted by my recent decision to start to gradually declutter my nail polish collection. I've been taking out a few polishes here and there that I haven't been using, and have been finding new homes and owners for them among friends and family. I've decided to post swatches of some of the polishes that I needed to try on, in order to decide if I wanted to keep them or not.

Translucent purple nail polish with holographic glitter

Above, I've posted a swatch of a polish I bought at Ardene, called 'Wish'. It's a translucent purple polish, jam-packed with various sizes of holographic glitter. It's quite cute in the bottle, but I don't think the colour suits my skin tone. I tend to like my purples either much lighter, or much darker than this shade. I ended up giving this polish away.

Over the coming weeks and months, I hope to have a few more swatches to post as part of my 'Nail Polish Declutter Project', as I go through my polishes.  Well, that's all for today!
