Today I have a gorgeous glitter mani to share with you all:
The thumb, middle and ring fingers of this manicure were polished with a navy blue base ('Incognito in Sausalito' from OPI' Fall 2013 San Francisco collection), and then covered with an iridescent blue-green flakie top coat (Nfu Oh's NFU 40). The pinky and index fingers look very similar to the others in colour and overall effect, however they were done using completely different textures. For these fingers, I used 'Valedictorian' a translucent navy jelly polish jam-packed with various sizes of blue and green hexagonal glitters. 'Valedictorian' was from Color Club's Spring 2014 Celebration Collection.

I absolutely love this manicure! I love the colours and special effects of both glitter polishes, and I especially love the combined effect of the polishes together: this manicure looks pretty uniform at first glance, but upon closer inspection reveals contrasting textures and finishes to provide subtle visual interest.
Below, I have a collage of various shots of the manicure. Since this is the kind of look that morphs constantly based on the angle and type of light that is hitting the various glitter particles, I ended up with several photos that each capture a slightly different element of how this manicure reacts to light.
